Queen of the South goalkeeper Zander Clark faces up to 4 weeks out with the thigh injury he picked up early on in last Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Morton.
The on-loan St. Johnstone shot-stopper has established himself as the number one at Palmerston after joining them in October with Manager Jim McIntyre using youngster Jim Atkinson in his place during Saturday’s 2-1 win at Livingston.
McIntyre said: “Zander has done well for us so it is disappointing that he will be missing for a few weeks. Jim has waited patiently for his chance and has shown against both Morton when he came on against Morton and then against Livingston that is more than worthy of a chance.”
