Alloa Athletic have named Jim Goodwin as their new manager following the recent departure of Jack Ross to St Mirren.
The 34-year-old Irishman can count Stockport County, Scunthorpe United, Huddersfield Town and Hamilton Accies among his former clubs and joined the Wasps in the summer after a five-year stint with St Mirren.
Alloa are third in the Ladbrokes League 1 table and travel to play leaders Brechin City at Glebe Park this Saturday.
