Falkirk expect midfielder Thomas Grant to be bouncing back to fitness by the end of this month after a virus caused the 18-year-old to be laid low for 3 weeks.
Technical Director Alex Smith said: “It was a horrible time for Thomas as this virus floored him and left him drained. He lost a good bit of weight as well which was not great as he has only a slim frame as it is.”
“We had to let it run its course and thankfully it has passed now and he is on his way back. He has lost 3 weeks worth of training which he is now working on getting back.”
Smith added: “Thankfully he is progressing well and we should see him back in action come the end of the month.”
