BELL'S Second Division Champions - Gretna FC

Gretna FC were presented with the BELL'S Second Division Trophy on Saturday

Champions Gretna were presented with their league trophy as they beat Raith Rovers 2-1 thanks to goals form Kenny Deuchar and Gavin Skelton. While a Darren Gribben low drive ten minutes from time earned Forfar their 1-0 win at Ayr.

Morton have snapped up forward James Stevenson of Alloa on a pre-contract deal. The 21 year old will move to the Greenock side in the summer with the hope that by then he will be joining a first division club.

But before leaving Alloa he took them closer to a play off place and off the foot of the second division with the only goal of the game in their 1-0 win over Dumbarton. With 64 minutes on the clock Stevenson met a through ball from Robert Sloan to drive in the winner which now leaves Dumbarton at the foot of the table.

Meanwhile a Stuart Greacen scissor kick nine minutes from time earned Morton a 1-0 win over Stirling Albion.

Peterhead now are favourites to take third top place thanks to a powerful 16 yard drive from Jamie Buchan for a 1-0 win over Partick Thistle who are also in the play offs.
