Ryan Fulton
While Jamie Smith has featured in all of the Trust Trophy games to date, Fulton is expected to be between the posts for Sunday’s final.
The former Scotland U21 international has been Accies’ most consistent performer this term with six clean sheets to his name – the same as Raith counterpart Jamie MacDonald.
With Hamilton battling to retain their Championship status, Fulton has made an impressive 72 saves in the league this term and he may need to make a few more if John Rankin’s team are to lift the trophy.
Dylan McGowan
The Australian has enjoyed a whirlwind start to life with Accies, being handed his debut and the captain’s armband within hours of joining on loan from Kilmarnock in January.
A leader at the back and strong in the tackle, the 31-year-old has helped to bring a sense of organisation to the defence and he’ll need to call on all of his experience to keep Rovers’ lively attackers at bay.
Having played as a defensive midfielder during his career, McGowan is comfortable bringing the ball forward and providing extra passing options to start attacks and give his fellow defenders some respite.
Scott Martin
One of Hamilton’s top performers in recent months, Martin has been a driving force from the centre of the park as the club’s fortunes have improved in the cinch Championship.
His energetic displays have made him a fans’ favourite alongside his willingness to ensure the opposition know they’ve been in a contest.
Fresh from serving a recent suspension, Accies fans will be looking for Martin’s tenacity to push them on and provide a platform which the team’s attacking players can build on.
