Hamilton Accies boss Alex Neil continued his comeback from a stomach muscle injury by playing 77 minutes of an U20 game against Ross County on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old has been out since October and had an operation in December and now only faces the challenge of getting back into his table-topping side.
Neil said: “I will only pick myself if I think it will improve the team. The boys have done terrifically well in my absence so I cannot just get back into the starting XI.”
