The season looks to be over for Morton’s former Blackburn Rovers midfielder Reece Hands due to a pelvic injury.
The 20-year-old hasn’t started a game since January 4 and was last involved two weeks later as a substitute and manager Kenny Shiels is not expecting a quick return.
Shiels said: “Reece’s condition has not shown a lot of progress and, to be fair to him, every time he pushes himself to get fit again he is in considerable pain. There is no date pencilled in for his return and I do not think we will see him again this season.”
