Hearts head coach Ian Cathro has completed a hat-trick of signings to take his tally of new recruits this month to nine.
Portuguese striker Ismael Goncalves has joined from Anorthosis Famagusta for a fee of 200,000 euros on a deal until 2020, having previously played for Nice, Rio Ave and St Mirren.
Greek centre-half Anastasios Avlonitis has agreed a contract until the summer. The 27-year-old moves from Olympiacos, having spent time on loan with Austrian side Sturm Graz.
Midfielder Alexandros Tziolis has also agreed a short-term deal at Tynecastle. Capped 62 times for Greece, the 31-year-old can count Panathinaikos, Siena and Monaco among his former clubs and was most recently with PAOK.
