The former Queen’s Park and Partick Thistle midfielder was outstanding as Dundee United beat Dundee 4-1 at Dens Park on Sunday to go top of the Scottish Premiership.
Jonathan Tiffoney
Had Barry Smith’s Alloa on course for a notable win over Rangers with a first-half header before David Templeton equalised late on in a 1-1 at the Indodrill Stadium.
Dale Carrick
Came off the bench and scored twice in the closing stages to seal an emphatic 5-1 win for Championship leaders Hearts against Cowdenbeath at Tynecastle.
Craig Beattie
The former Scotland striker was introduced as a substitute at Glebe Park and weighed in with a double as Ayr United moved back to the top of League 1 with a 4-2 win over Brechin City.
Sandy Cunningham
The 19-year-old substitute popped up with a late double as Stirling Albion salvaged a 2-2 draw against Forfar Athletic at Forthbank in League 1.
Dylan Carreiro
The Canadian, on loan from Dundee, scored twice in the second half at Broadwood as Arbroath notched up a 5-2 win over Clyde to return to the League 2 summit.
Peter Weatherson
The 34-year-old, who missed most of last season through injury, scored the only goal direct from a free-kick as Annan got the better of East Stirlingshire at Ochilview.
