Premiership football returns to Tynecastle next season

Heart of Midlothian sealed the Scottish Championship title this afternoon after closest challengers Dundee and Raith Rovers both dropped points.

Robbie Neilson's side thrashed bottom club Alloa Athletic 6-0 at Tynecastle on Friday night (pictured) to move on to the 50-point mark.

Dundee and Raith Rovers can both now only reach 49 points after being held to home draws by Morton and Arbroath this afternoon, confirming the capital club as champions.

Hearts' next match is away to Morton on Tuesday April 20, live on BBC Scotland with a 7.05pm kick-off. They host Inverness CT on Saturday April 24 before completing their campaign with a trip to Stark's Park to play Raith Rovers on Friday April 30.
