Hearts name Critchley head coach

Former QPR boss replaces Steven Naismith

Heart of Midlothian have confirmed the appointment of Neil Critchley as the club's new head coach.

The former Queens Park Rangers and Blackpool manager has signed a contract until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Critchley replaces Steven Naismith, who departed the Tynecastle side following their 2-1 loss to St. Mirren.

Hearts B team boss Liam Fox had taken charge of the side for the home draw with Ross County and an away loss to Aberdeen.

The capital side sit in 12th place in the William Hill Premiership with two points from their opening eight league matches.
