Hearts lost out 2-1 to PAOK Salonika at Tynecastle in the first leg of their Europa Conference League Play-Off first leg.
Lawrence Shankland opened the scoring from the penalty spot after nine minutes after a foul on Kenneth Vargas. However the visitors from Greece scored through a penalty of their own after Kye Rowles was penalised.
Shankland saw another goal ruled out for offside before Andrija Zivkovic struck the winner after 75 minutes but the tie remains alive.
The return leg will take place in Greece on Thursday, August 31 – kick off 6.30pm.
