Hearts win again, Dobbie nets four

Ladbrokes Premiership leaders Heart of Midlothian made it four wins from four to go five points clear at the top of the table.

Steven Naismith hit a first-half hat-trick in a 4-1 victory against St Mirren at Tynecastle to maintain their 100% record. Kilmarnock are second following a 2-0 win away to an Aberdeen side who had Mikey Devlin sent off after just five minutes and Livingston are third after coming from behind to defeat Hibernian 2-1 at the Tony Macaroni Arena. St Johnstone are also on the seven-point mark following their 2-1 victory away to Hamilton Accies. Motherwell saw off bottom club Dundee 3-1 at Dens Park to earn their first victory of the campaign.

Ross County are back on top of the Ladbrokes Championship thanks to a 2-0 win against bottom club Falkirk in Dingwall and Inverness CT are second after beating Dunfermline Athletic 3-0 at East End Park. Stephen Dobbie hit four to take his tally for the season to an incredible 18 goals as Queen of the South thrashed Ayr United 5-0 at Palmerston. Partick Thistle beat Morton 1-0 at Firhill and Alloa Athletic hit back for a 1-1 draw with Dundee United at the Indodrill Stadium.

Arbroath remain top of Ladbrokes League 1 despite being pegged back for a 2-2 draw with Brechin City at Gayfield. They have been joined on the 11-point mark by Raith Rovers, who thumped Forfar Athletic 4-0 at Stark’s Park. Airdrieonians are third after beating Stranraer 2-0 at the Excelsior Stadium while bottom club East Fife earned their first win, 2-0 away to Montrose. Stenhousemuir came from behind to beat Dumbarton 2-1 at Ochilview.

Edinburgh City are the new leaders in Ladbrokes League 2 after Blair Henderson scored in a 1-0 win at Peterhead to knock the Blue Toon off the summit. Clyde were 2-1 winners away to Annan Athletic and Berwick Rangers triumphed 5-3 at bottom club Albion Rovers. Stirling Albion picked up their first points with a 3-0 success against Elgin City at Borough Briggs while it finished 0-0 between Queen’s Park and Cowdenbeath at Hampden.
