Hibernian have a three-point lead at the top of the Ladbrokes Championship after beating Dunfermline Athletic 3-1 at East End Park.

The Pars led at the break through a Kallum Higginbotham penalty but a Nat Wedderburn own goal levelled things up and Grant Holt put Hibs ahead from the spot. Brian Graham added a late third before Dunfermline had Michael Moffat sent off.

Dundee United are up to second place with a 2-1 home victory over Dumbarton. A Gregor Buchanan OG and a William Edjenguele goal had Ray McKinnon's men in command but Robert Thomson pulled one back for the Sons.

Raith Rovers leapfrogged Falkirk with a 4-2 win at the Falkirk Stadium. Mark Stewart bagged a double and Iain Davidson and Declan McManus were also on target for Gary Locke’s men, with John Baird and Lee Miller replying for the Bairns.

Ayr United are just three points outside the play-offs after beating Queen of the South 1-0 at Somerset Park with a goal from Paul Cairney.
