Hibernian manager Colin Calderwood has made Ghana striker Junior Agogo his fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Ivan Sproule, Garry O'Connor and Sean O'Hanlon.
The 31-year-old has penned a one-year deal in the capital after a spell in Cyprus with Apollon Limassol and has also spent time in the USA and Egypt during his career.
Agogo began his playing days with Sheffield Wednesday but made his name south of the border as a prolific striker with Barnet, Bristol Rovers and Nottingham Forest.
Meanwhile, Hibs lost 2-0 to Blackpool in a friendly at Bloomfield Road on Tuesday.
Hibs manager Colin Calderwood told the club website: "He is a proven goalscorer and a strong character and has already settled into Hibernian life in the two weeks he has been on trial.
"Junior never gets fazed by challenges and he will add another dimension to our attacking arsenal. I'm sure the fans will take to him and his arrival will further strengthen our attacking options."
