Hibernian have signed former Dundee United midfielder Scott Allan on a two-year deal.
The 22-year-old left Tannadice for West Brom in January 2012 and also had loan spells at Portsmouth, MK Dons and Birmingham during his time south of the border.
Hibs manager Alan Stubbs said: "Scott is a top-quality player with immense potential. The fact he has agreed to come here is a tremendous coup for everyone at the club."
Meanwhile, 18-year-old striker Jason Cummings has agreed a new contract that will keep him at Easter Road until the summer of 2017.
