Airdrie United have released their former Dundee United defender Craig Hill by mutual consent to allow the 20-year-old to return home to fine a new club.
Hill made one top team appearance for the Tannadice men before joining the Diamonds almost a year ago where he made 9 starting and 3 substitute appearances, however his time at the club was marred by a facial injury that required surgery after a game against Alloa.
A club spokesperson said, “Craig has now returned home to Ireland, and we wish him all the best with his future career.”
