Hill re-signs at Forfar

Goalkeeper remains at Station Park

Former Falkirk, East Stirling and Arbroath goalkeeper Darren Hill has agreed a new contract for next season with the Loons despite playing second fiddle to former Scotland shot-stopper Rab Douglas for most of the season.

The 32-year-old joined the Station Park side in January 2013 and was first choice until Douglas joined this season in a playing and coaching capacity.

Hill has been re-instated after Douglas picked up a pelvic injury with manager Dick Campbell delighted to keep one of the best two goalkeepers in League 1 at the club.

Campbell said: "I am fortunate to have the two best goalkeepers in this league at Forfar. It was frustrating for Darren when Rab was in however he kept working hard and waiting for his chance. I am really pleased that Darren is going to continue his career at Forfar."
