Home advantage is less important than might be expected in the SPFL this season, at least according to the figures so far.
Of the 504 games played across the four divisions there have been 210 home wins (41.7%), 182 away wins (36.1) and 112 draws (22.2%).
Raith Rovers have the best home record in the SPFL, with 12 wins and a draw from 13 matches in Ladbrokes League 1, while Championship leaders St Mirren are the only other side to have reached double figures of home victories (10).
Five teams have notched up nine away wins in 2017/18 - Celtic, Rangers, Ayr United, Montrose and Peterhead.
