St Mirren boss Alex Rae has signed midfielder Kyle Hutton on a deal until the summer of 2018.
The 25-year-old, who spent last season with Queen of the South, now links up with their Ladbrokes Championship rivals.
Hutton, who has been capped by Scotland at U21 level, began his career with Rangers and has also had loan spells with Partick Thistle and Dunfermline Athletic.
He told the St Mirren website: "It’s a big club and talking to the manager personally swayed the decision for me - I’m delighted I’m signed up."
