The last manager to lead Third Division table toppers Arbroath to promotion, John McGlashan, is back in football after an 18 month break and he is looking to revive one of sleeping giants in the Junior game. McGlashan, who resigned after successfully keeping the Red Lichties in the Second Division as he wanted to take a break from management in October 2009, has been appointed to look after Tayport following Willie Garner leaving his post on Saturday night with the Canniepart team stuck at the foot of the Premier Super League.
McGlashan said, “I am delighted to be back after recharged my batteries and falling in love with football again. It will be a tough task to stay in the league but anyone who knows me knows that I like a challenge.”
