In-form St. Mirren defender Sean Kelly has had his loan period with Third Division East Stirling extended for another two months.
The 19-year-old made his debut for the Shire as a substitute in their 5-1 defeat from Rangers and Ibrox and he moved on to a starting role the following week against Elgin and he has remained there ever since.
Kelly also found the net for his first senior goal against Cowdenbeath in the Ramsdens Cup with Shire head coach John Coughlin saying, “Sean has done very well in a number of positions since he came in. He is learning a lot about the game and we have a very useful player in our squad so it is a win-win situation.”
