In the later game, bottom club St Johnstone hit back for a 1-1 draw with Aberdeen at McDiarmid Park. Matty Kennedy equalised after Sam Cosgrove had opened the scoring and Saints held on for a point despite having both Murray Davidson and Callum Hendry sent off.
