Albion Rovers have named former Newcastle United and Motherwell midfielder Brian Kerr as their new manager.
The Ladbrokes League 1 side recently announced Darren Young was parting company with the club at the end of the season and U20 coach Kerr has now been named as the new boss.
Kerr, who won three caps for Scotland and hopes to appoint his assistant this week, told the Albion Rovers website: "I’m delighted to get this chance and I’ll do everything in my power to continue the progress the club has made in recent years. My work will start immediately, as I look to put a squad and backroom staff in place for next season."
