Dunfermline are up to second spot thanks to a 2-1 win over Stranraer at Stair Park. Willie Gibson's debut goal cancelled out Gozie Ugwu's early opener but Michael Moffat notched a 63rd-minute winner. The Pars had Ross Millen sent off before the break and Stranraer's Craig Malcolm saw red early in the second period.
Forfar leapfrogged Morton to go third with a 3-2 victory at Station Park. Gavin Swankie netted twice for Dick Campbell's side and Danny Denholm was also on target. Declan McManus and Reece Hands scored for Morton.
