Ayr United are back at the top of League 1 after beating Brechin City 4-2 at Glebe Park.
All the goals came in the second half, with Alan Trouten and Jamie Masson netting for City either side of a Scott McLaughlin penalty. Brechin had Greg Cameron sent off and Ayr took advantage, with substitute Craig Beattie scoring twice and McLaughlin converting a second spot-kick.
Morton are up to second spot thanks to a 2-1 win over Dunfermline at Cappielow. Ross Millen's penalty hauled the Pars level after Declan McManus had opened the scoring but Conor Pepper struck four minutes later.
Third-placed Forfar were pegged back for a 2-2 draw at Stirling Albion. Omar Kader and Gavin Swankie had Dick Campbell's side in command but Sandy Cunningham came off the bench to grab a double for the Binos.
Adam Forde scored in injury time as Stranraer earned a 3-3 draw at bottom club Airdrieonians. Paddy Boyle, Bryan Prunty and Luca Gasparotto netted for the Diamonds, with Jamie Longworth and Craig Malcolm on target for the Blues before Forde struck.
A goal in the opening minutes was enough to give Peterhead a 1-0 win over second-bottom Stenhousemuir at Balmoor.
