Jon Daly gave Ally McCoist's men the lead and Aird struck with three minutes left after Paul McManus had equalised.

Ross Millen converted a last-minute penalty as second-placed Dunfermline beat Brechin 2-1 at East End Park. Lawrence Shankland's opener was cancelled out by Robert Thomson but Millen won it for the Pars.

Stenhousemuir kept their play-off hopes alive with a late comeback to beat Ayr 3-2 at Somerset Park. Ben Greenhalgh opened the scoring for the Warriors but Michael Moffat and Alan Forrest netted in the space of two minutes midway through the second half. Sean Higgins equalised with a penalty in 87 minutes and the same player grabbed a stoppage-time winner.

East Fife remain second from bottom despite coming from behind to beat Forfar 2-1 at Station Park with goals from Liam Buchanan and Nathan Austin after Chris Duggan had scored for Dick Campbell's team.

Stranraer and Airdrieonians drew 1-1 at Stair Park. Jamie Longworth had the Blues in front but a late Liam Coogans goal levelled matters.
