Dunfermline beat eight-man Peterhead 3-0 at East End Park with second-half goals from Josh Falkingham, Gozie Ugwu and James Thomas. The Blue Toon had Steven Noble, Jordon Brown and Jamie Redman all sent off before the break.

Airdrieonians claimed their first win of the season, knocking Ayr United off top spot with a 3-2 success at Somerset Park. On-loan Rangers defender Luca Gasparotto and Jamie Bain struck in the closing minutes after Ayr had led through goals from Peter Murphy and Craig Beattie following Jim Lister's opener.

Stenhousemuir came from behind to beat Morton 2-1 at Ochilview. On-loan Aberdeen forward Declan McManus opened the scoring but Martin Grehan equalised 60 seconds later and Sean Dickson got the winner early in the second half.

Stranraer saw off Stirling Albion 2-0 at Stair Park thanks to first-half goals from Jamie Longworth and Stephen Stirling.
