Declan Byrne has been voted cinch League 2 Player of the Month for August after helping Dumbarton make a 100% start to the season.
The former Albion Rovers striker has netted five league goals already this season, with the Sons having won all six of their matches to go eight points clear at the top.
Byrne netted a double against Stirling Albion on the opening day and also bagged a brace in the 4-0 defeat of Annan Athletic in mid-August.
