Montrose boss Paul Hegarty has been named Scottish League 2 Manager of the Month for April.
The former Dundee United skipper, who took over from George Shields earlier this year, guided his team to wins over East Stirlingshire and Elgin City. Montrose also drew with Queen's Park and their only April defeat was 1-0 to Clyde.
Hegarty and his players are now preparing for Saturday's play-off against Highland League champions Brora Rangers, with the second leg at Links Park on May 16.
The SPFL’s monthly awards are held in conjunction with the Scottish Football Writers’ Association, with winners voted for by members of the Scottish media.
