Thirteen points from a possible 15 for Arbroath last month has seen Allan Moore voted League 2 Manager of the Month for a second time this season.

The league leaders kicked on from a 1-1 draw at Elgin at the beginning of December to win four games on the bounce, knocking in another 12 goals in the process.

Consecutive 3-2 victories at home to Annan Athletic then away to East Stirlingshire were followed by a 2-0 Gayfield triumph against Berwick Rangers.

Moore, who turned 50 on Christmas Day, was then given the perfect present in the shape of his side winning 5-1 away to East Fife in their final league game of 2014.

Arbroath are four points clear of nearest challengers Albion Rovers and face third-placed Queen's Park at Hampden on Saturday.
