Former East Fife defender Alexis Dutot has returned to France after being unable to secure full-time football in Scotland. The 21-year-old was offered deals by Berwick Rangers and Brechin City after impressing in trial games but he turned them down in the hope of landing a full-time contract elsewhere.

Dundee are taking a look at Montrose youngster Declan Milne, with the 16-year-old striker invited to join the Dark Blues for full-time training. Milne made the bench for the Gable Endies at the end of last season in between sitting his Highers at Bridge of Don Academy.
