Paul McManus got the only goal midway through the second half as Allan Moore's men came out on top at Gayfield.

David Gold scored a last-minute winner as Berwick Rangers edged out East Fife 3-2 at Bayview. Paul Currie and an Allan Walker own goal had the visitors two goals up at half-time but Alan Cook (penalty) and Steven Campbell levelled matters, only for Gold to pounce with 60 seconds left.

Queen's Park beat Annan 1-0 at Galabank thanks to a Shaun Fraser goal shortly before half-time. The hosts had Peter Watson sent off early in the second half.

East Stirlingshire defeated Elgin City 2-1 at Ochilview with goals from Chris Townsley and David McKenna. Marvin Andrews, playing as a trialist, claimed a late consolation.
