Livi agree deal for Elliot

Lions agree terms to bring striker back for second spell

Livingston have agreed a deal to bring striker Calum Elliot back to West Lothian after a gap of four and a half years and they hope that he can recreate the form that saw him grab 11 goals in 13 appearances the last time he was a Lion.

Elliot was with Hearts for nearly 8 years and he had loan spells at Livi, Motherwell and Dundee before leaving in January 2012 when he joined Lithuanian club Zalgiris Vilnius where he scored 17 goals in 39 appearances.

A trial with MLS side Houston Dynamo at the beginning of this year was unsuccessful and Elliot headed home to join the Wasps

Delighted Livingston boss Richie Burke said: “Calum spent some time training with us during the winter however we could not offer him anything at that time. We can now and I am really pleased that he is joining us.”

“He will give us a good physical presence up front which we do not have too much of at the moment. I have been told that Callum did very well when he was here before and I am looking forward to seeing what he does this time around.”
