Livi hoping that Jacobs takes inspiration for Talbot

Talbot return shows Jacobs light at the end of the tunnel

Livingston’s Head Coach Gareth Evans is hoping that seeing Jason Talbot back on the training pitch will lift the spirits of midfielder Keaghan Jacobs who was recently ruled out for rest of the season and beyond with a cruciate knee injury.

Jason TalbotTalbot has been out of action since suffering a similar problem in a First Division game against Ross County back in April, however he is now back training with the Lions’ first team and Evans is hoping that Jacobs takes heart from Talbot’s return.

Evans said: “As you can imagine Keaghan is pretty devastated at the thought of a lengthy period out of the game but I am sure that seeing Jason back will help him. He will be able to see light at the end of the tunnel in the shape of his team-mate and allow him to pencil in dates to return in a similar way.”
