Nicky Cadden scored the winner with a last-minute penalty and Rovers had Alan Reid sent off in stoppage time.

Airdrieonians continued their fine form with a 4-2 victory over Peterhead at Balmoor. Andy Ryan bagged a double and Sean McIntosh and Iain Russell were also on target for the Diamonds. Nicky Riley and Leighton McIntosh scored for the Blue Toon.

Queen's Park are up to fifth place after beating Brechin City 2-0 at Hampden with goals from Ross Millen (penalty) and Ryan McGeever.
