Livingston are now 11 points clear at the top of Ladbrokes League 1 after beating Brechin City 3-0 at the Tony Macaroni Arena.

Liam Buchanan, Craig Halkett and Nicky Cadden got the goals for David Hopkin's side against fourth-placed City.

Alloa Athletic, in second, were held to a 1-1 draw away to Albion Rovers - Scott Taggart opened the scoring but Ross Stewart levelled for Rovers.

Stenhousemuir upset the odds to beat Airdrieonians 4-2 at Ochilview. Alan Cook netted twice, with Colin McMenamin and Carlos Mazana on target late on. Andy Ryan and Joe Gorman scored for Airdrie, who had Jack Leitch sent off. 

Peterhead saw off Queen's Park 4-0 at Balmoor helped by a Rory McAllister double, one a penalty after Ryan McGeever was sent off. Ryan Strachan and Grant Anderson were also on target for the Blue Toon.

East Fife claimed another shut-out and moved to within a point of the top four after a 0-0 draw with bottom club Stranraer at Bayview.
