First Division Livingston’s ‘We sell more, You pay less” innovative season tickets pricing scheme up has been warmly received with sales more than 20% up on this stage last year.
The Lions have looked to match the success that English side Hartlepool had last season when their season ticket holding fan base trebled on the back of a scheme where the price went down as more fans purchased one.
The club’s Chief Executive Ged Nixon said, “Our adult season tickets will cost £250 if less than 700 are sold, however there will be drop in price when the 700, 1,000 and 1,300 marks are passed and the price will be halved to £125 if 1,600 are sold.”
“So far we are have sold a good few more than we had at this time a year ago and that was just after winning the Second Division. Our attendances last season were 35% up on the season before, so hopefully we can also build on that by fans buying their ticket for the lowest price.”
