The 21-year-old left-back, who spent time on loan at Shrewsbury Town last season, has agreed a deal with the Dons until January.
Manager Derek McInnes told the club website: "He can play in a variety of positions, which is always key when you’re running with a tight squad and we feel he’ll be a very good addition."
