St Johnstone captain Dave Mackay has signed a contract extension that will keep him at McDiarmid Park until the summer of 2017.
The defender, who can count Dundee, Oxford United and Livingston among his former clubs, has been with Saints since 2009.
Mackay told the St Johnstone website: "This is a great club to be a part of and it’s going really well again so far this season - long may that continue.
“It wasn’t hard to deal with the club and we came to an agreement pretty quickly. We are on a good run - fourth in the league and a League Cup semi-final on the back-burner - but we must all work hard to keep it going.”
