Queen’s Park midfielder James Baty is to see a specialist about the knee problem that has restricted him to just 16 minutes of football this season.
The 27-year-old former Threave Rovers player is in his second season with the Spiders but has not been able to make an impact due to the injury he suffered in August.
Head coach Gus MacPherson said: “James has been making very slow progress so we need to find out if there is anything that can be done to speed his recovery up.”
