Albion Rover boss Paul Martin was delighted that former Hamilton midfield star Tony Stevenson has signed on until the end of the season as he feared losing him to big spending Junior sides. Martin said of the player who scored Accies’ first ever SPL goal 2 years ago against Dundee United, “Tony has been here for a month and done really well. He could have doubled his money by going Junior, however he sees Albion Rovers as a great platform to get back to full time football so I am really pleased.”
Rovers youngster Steven Greenlees has moved to Junior side Glenafton on a loan deal to gain some experience.
