Peterhead have been given a massive boost with the news that striker Rory McAllister has signed a new contract that will keep him at Balmoor until 2017.
The former Inverness CT and Brechin forward has been with the Blue Toon since 2011 and scored 32 goals during the 2013/14 season.
The 27-year-old netted a late equaliser as Jim McInally's men drew 1-1 with Stirling Albion in their League 1 opener on Saturday.
A club spokesman said: "We are all delighted that Rory will be staying with us as he is a great asset to the team and everyone here at Balmoor thinks very highly of him.
“Once again we would like to send a massive thank you to our supporters' club, whose donation to the club allowed us to be able to extend Rory’s contract."
