Winger Scott McBride had made East Fife his fifth side on the east coast of Scotland after agreeing a deal to join Gordon Durie’s side.
The 23-year-old started at Dunfermline in 2007 and played twice for the Pars and also featured for Arbroath and Cowdenbeath on loan before joining the Blue Brazil on a permanent basis in January 2010.
McBride then moved onto Raith Rovers, however he failed to establish himself in the Kirkcaldy side and was released in the summer.
