Striker Thomas McCluskey, who was being pursued by Falkirk, Cowdenbeath, Hamilton Accies, Queen’s Park and Albion Rovers in recent months, has signed for Junior side St Rochs.
The former St Mirren youth player was banging in the goals for Strathclyde Saturday morning League side Blochairn Star and he spent two weeks training with the Bairns, as well as working out with the Central Park side and having stints with Accies and Rovers as well as playing against the Spiders in a bounce game.
Blochairn boss Andy Cameron has recently moved to take over the Provanmill Park side and McCluskey has opted to join him as opposed to going senior.
