Forfar have been dealt a blow with the news that skipper Mark McCulloch faces several months on the sidelines due to a knee problem.
The 38-year-old was injured against Dundee in a Ramsdens Cup tie a fortnight ago and a scan has now shown there is cartilage and potential cruciate damage.
Manager Dick Campbell said: “This is a real blow to us and to Mark. He is a huge figure at our club and all we can hope is that it is only cartilage damage he has suffered and that he will be back in a couple of months. Everyone is hoping he makes a speedy recovery.”
