Dundee United have signed striker Scott McDonald on a one-year contract following his departure from Motherwell.
The 33-year-old ex-Celtic and Middlesbrough forward will hope to help the Tannadice club regain their Premiership status in the season ahead.
Manager Ray McKinnon told the club website: "He adds to our attacking options and the desire he showed to come to United ahead of other options tells me everything about his character. He is a winner and wants to help us win the title."
