Dundee United goalkeeper Joe McGovern has returned to Tannadice at the end of his loan spell at Clyde with Bully Wee boss Jim Duffy singing the praises of the 19-year-old.
McGovern played 3 times and kept a clean sheet as Clyde defeated Annan 1-0 to move up the League 2 table in his final match with Duffy saying: “Joe did well for us and I am sure he enjoyed the experience and gained a lot from it. Keeping a clean sheet in his last game is a nice landmark and we wish him well for the rest of his career.”
