Callum McGregor scored a debut goal as Celtic beat KR Reykjavik 1-0 in the first leg of their Champions League second-round qualifier in Iceland on Tuesday evening.
There were just six minutes left when the 21-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Notts County, found the net with the aid of a deflection after cutting in from the right.
Kris Commons and Leigh Griffiths were both denied by the woodwork and Ronny Deila's side missed a number of chances before McGregor struck to give Celtic a narrow lead ahead of next week's second leg at Murrayfield.
