Peterhead boss Jim McInally has been named Scottish League 2 Manager of the Month for March.
The Blue Toon won five of their six fixtures last month and have since gone on to clinch the title with a 2-0 win at Clyde on April 12.
McInally said: “It is the players who have been doing the work and have earned the award. Recently, my work has been easy as the players have been so motivated and knew they had a real chance to win the league.
“Since we finished the first quarter of our matches this season our form has been outstanding every month. At the start of this season for one reason or another, whether it was injuries or work commitments, we couldn’t get that team on the park for a while. We knew when we did have that team available we would have a chance of doing something.”
